We want you to love your AI results! If your digital twin doesn’t look authentically like you, the most common reason is that the selfies you uploaded did not meet our recommended guidelines. For example, group photos, lack of variety (same angle or pose repeated), or images where your face isn’t fully visible can limit the AI’s accuracy.

If you feel you did upload good examples, it could be camera settings: Photogeniq offers many ways to control your image generation (pose matching, style presets, reference photos, etc.). We recommend uploading 5-10 photos showing different angles and a clear unobstructed view of your face. Avoid group photos. The more diverse the photos, the better your AI model will be at capturing your essence.

While we offer many pose and look presets (updated frequently with social media trends), you can upload any reference image you have—whether it’s your own photo or inspiration from a favorite influencer or celebrity. Photogeniq will then use this reference to match the pose or look, giving you exactly the vibe you want.

Pose Matching is perfect when you only want to replicate the subject’s pose from a reference image but change other details (like style, outfit, or hair color). On the other hand, Look Matching is best if you love everything about the reference image—pose, style, and outfit—and simply wish it were you instead. Note that style filters won’t apply when using Look Matching. However, we do provide a strength adjustment so you can decide how closely to match the original look while still making small tweaks if desired.

Photogeniq AI creates highly realistic images that maintain your core features while enhancing your best qualities. With that said, the quality of the generated images is highly dependent on the images you upload, style, prompt, and image settings. Even with the best images, AI will still make mistakes.
